It’s that time of year. We have been blessed with wonderful weather and now the rain is setting in on us. I happen to LOVE rain. It gives me warm and fuzzies inside. I love curling up on the couch with a blanket and my family and enjoying the time I have on this earth. However, rain is not great for photographers and this session had a little sprinkling of rain. It was doing its best to hold out for us, and we were able to squeeze in a wonderful session before the wind and real rain picked up.
Even though it was sprinkling, it did not dampen this wonderful family’s spirit. We hit the ground running as soon we got there to waste no time while the weather was holding out. This mama was truly a wonderful soul. She immediately jumped into action and started playing with her little girl for the pictures.
Mama’s specific request for me was to capture moments of just them together because she was always the one taking the pictures. Mamas! I see you. One of my goals is to always get pictures of mom with each one of their kids, all the kids, and same with Dad. That’s what I’m here for, to capture an all-inclusive experience you just can’t get on your own. That’s why photographer’s exist!
They brought the cutest red heart balloon that made this session such a fairytale. Little girl loved running with it and having it trail behind her. It made for the cutest pictures. This little girl had a smile on her face the whole time even though it was starting to get cold out. She clearly loved her family and would laugh at the silly sounds Dad was making. The connection between all of them was so apparent.
This session came to a close as the rain started getting heavier. Even though it wasn’t ideal conditions, they were my ideal family and so wonderful to work with. Thank you, Romett Family, for being so great and a huge blessing to my day.
