How am I getting so lucky with weather!?! All my shoots have fallen on beautiful days this season. I am so thankful!
This shoot began with me getting to the location a bit early to make sure the spot I had in mind was still going to be suitable for the session. I was so in love with all the beautiful little flowers that popped up and how the sun was shining perfectly through what was going to be the backdrop of the photos. I love when the lighting on location come together in harmony.
Upon getting back to my car, I see my clients pulling up. I have known this family for a while as the husband was my personal trainer for about four years. I remember when the couple got engaged. Heck, I remember when they started dating! Wow, time has really flown by. It has been such a blessing to see this little family grow from a thought to a reality. And I am glad I had the privilege to capture the love and chemistry between each one of them.
Starting at the moment the car door was opened, big sister was saying hi to me and waving from inside. A smile almost always on her face the entire session. Her favorite thing to do was to point out the squirrels and dogs that were nearby. It made for great pictures!
Also, can we talk about the outfits!?! I absolutely love when clients coordinate outfits amongst the family.. I think this is the prefect example of what families should wear during a session. Clients!! Follow this example. For instance, there is an overarching color theme: blues and whites. There are similar patterns and different patterns, but they are patterns that compliment each other. Plus, you guys, your pictures are going to look so much better with coordinating outfits. This mama did great!
Little sister is two months old here. Look at those little feet!! I love pictures of baby's feet. They are so precious to look back on and to remember all those little wrinkles and tiny toes. If you have a session with me and you have a baby, you bet I am taking pictures of those little feet! Brb, crying...
I loved the way Mama and Dad carefully handled their little baby girl. Always making sure to hold her head and be mindful of her positioning. This little girl is growing up in such a loving family.
Big sister was also so gentle with her little sister. She was so sweet when giving her little kisses and hugs. Additionally, when walking to and from the car, she loved to help push the stroller with Mom or Dad. Even on grocery trips I hear she loves to help push the shopping cart the entire shopping trip. How cute!
This little growing family was a pleasure to see and a pleasure to capture the love that was so apparent between them. Hopefully I will have the pleasure of capturing more of that love as this family grows older. But for now, another beautiful session down and more to come. Thanks for reading! Until next time.
