As you can see, this wonderful family has many loved ones. Present here are four generations; 15 great grandkids in total. How cool is that?? I was lucky enough to meet my great grandparents as well. It's not something everyone is fortunate enough to experience. This family is very close and it was apparent they shared many fond memories with one another. Of course having such a large group is unusual for my normal sessions. But this family rocked! Everyone was so great and even the kids listened attentively. A photographers dream.
The kids' photos, I think, are my favorite. I mean, I feel like we are in a fairytale here! It was so fun to see each individual's personality. Some were shy, some came up to the camera with confidence, and some (the younger ones) simply imitated what mom and dad were doing behind me. Thank you parents for working with your kids during the session!
The love and chemistry between each couple filled me with so much joy. This family truly enjoys life and, more importantly, each other. Here is just one example of such love. These are the shots I strive for. The "in between" shots that show the connection retained by two people.
It all started with these two. I hope this family can look back on these photos and feel the amount of love that I felt in the air that day. It was a wonderful day for photos and I can't thank this family enough for allowing me to preserve this moment in time for them.
