Senior season is upon us! And I am not talking about old people season! That is always upon us. Especially in the aisles of Costco pretty much every day of the week. Ha! Much love to them, just stay to the SIDE while I zip down and grab everything I need in two seconds.
Seems like I have a lot to say about the aisles of Costco, but I have even more to say about my senior session with Andre. Let’s get started!
Andre is graduating in 2023 from Lakeridge High School. And let’s just take a minute and look at that smile! WOW. I was seriously gushing over his smile the entire session. His favorite sport is Lacrosse and plans to play in college.
Andre is very laid back and very friendly. My favorite part was when Mom would come up to fix his shirt or hair, and he would just smile and let it happen. Some of the best pictures I got were when he would watch Mom behind me as she was helping with the session.
Mom is very proud of her son and everything about him. Prior to the session, Mom and I were chatting on the phone while she was visiting her other son in a different state. She could not say enough good things about her sons. It’s so nice to see the love and connection among family members.
By the end of the session, Andre was a pro at posing for the camera. But what does that even mean? Movement. Movement is key when taking pictures, believe it or not. I will pose my clients allllll day long if they need it, but the best pictures come out with those natural movements. I had him walking in circles, running his hand through his hair, tossing the lacrosse ball up in the air, looking away, looking at me, and so much more. By the end, it came naturally to him, and I was a proud photographer.
It was a fantastic session and the pictures came out so amazing. Congratulations to Andre, and congrats to Mom and Dad for having a successful young man. You guys did well! Thank you everyone for reading. I’ll see you in the next post.
